Letdown in the making: Foreign firms behind dubious schemes

KUALA LUMPUR: Six multinational direct-selling companies are behind get-rich-quick schemes.Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry deputy director-general (enforcement) Iskandar Halim Sulaiman said they were making millions every year through questionable means.

Nowadays, there are so many get-rich-quick scheme of investment. As per newspaper cutting above, I took from NST today, you might not notice or you might heard or you might alrready joined. But I would like to stress here what do I think about this get-rich-quick scheme.

As I went through all this internet investment, I saw alot of things that smells fishy on their invesment planning and returns. You may got alot of money by throwing out a little bit of money. The question is.... Where did the money come from??? How do they earn the money from that invesment??? And if so they earn alot of money from the invesment, why do they still open for people to join after they earn enough capital to run by themselves.

If you heard before about Pak Man Telo scheme, they took all those money from downline who joined the scheme and wait until the pyramid getting bigger. After the pyramid big enough, or in other word saturated, they might not have the ability to pay all those investors. They will pay some of their early bird with a promising amount of money, then when other people notice that this investment give alot of returns, other people might start to invest alot of money. This is the initial point where the company makes profit. And most of the time this company will cabut after gain enough confidence from peoples.

Some might invest very little amount of money. And they might say, owhh... Nevermind... Just gamble la... If the company bankrupt before I got my capital back, then 'kira burn la'. Yes... you might put out the amount you don't care even you loose. But before you do this, think back. If a million people in Malaysia do this, invest with a little amount let say RM200, what do you think the amount could be??? You may grab your calculator and find out billions of ringgit would appear. And start to think again, if this company is a foreign company, they easily took out a Billion of RM into their country, what happened? You might not even think before, but please consider what will happened to our Ringgit currency. Simply give people without having any return. This is how Jews play with the economy. Then people start to blame the government by not controlling the currency. Drop against the US dollars. But they never tell, it was from their own stupidness. (Yes, I was in this situation too when I am too naive about this. But this is where I learn.)

I start to think in this way after I educate myself with financial knowledge. That is why I recommend you to invest in stock or unit trust. At least your money is helping the country by building up the economy. I will post another topic on this subject regarding the unit trust and stock market and how they help to boost out our economy.

Manufacturing Industry

It's been almost a year I'm in this industry. Starting from my industrial training at Cubic for about 4 months, then I continue for a contract of 6 months before I moved to Pioneer Tech. Now already about 2 and a half months I'm here. After I've gone through alot of processes I begin to learn alot of things here in manufacturing industries. And I begin to like it because of the application here and as well as the lessons.

I began to notice that I actually like electronic products a few years ago. I like to buy handphones, computers, laptop, Audio player such as walkman, car audio, guitar effects, etc. And the scenario is totally different as a user and as a producer. It is definitely 2 different party but when it comes to manufacturing, it must be a win-win situation between the manufacturer and consumer. Then you should start to think how to build a product that consumer love to use it and at the same time it would save alot of money while improving the quality. All this engineering analysis only can be answered as you go further and gain alot of experience in this industries.

Right now I still feel like I am a new born in this industry with a lot of things to learn, but I am sure I can learn it very fast. Even though I like business more than working 'eating-salary' but I am sure this industry can teach me alot of things before I moved into a new world of business. I really hope to own a business and become rich one day. But before that I must prepare myself with knowledge and experience. I'm aiming the stars and I should reach it one day!

URASHIMATARO

For this whole day, I have to attend the HIPOT training conducted by the executive engineer, Mr. Ithnain or we call him Otai!. Overall, the training was fun but a little bit tiring cause they don't provide any chair at the training room. Upon completion, we have to seat for a test which will determine whether we are certified to conduct HIPOT tester or we have to repeat the training again.
HIPOT stand for High-Potential Test, a simulation for thunder to a product. This is to ensure the product is safe and no current leakage. Safety is the first priority here, and also to ensure the end-user using a safe product is our (PE) responsibility. I did learn few standards on electrical safety standard used around the world and hope it may benefit me for my carreer.

Urashimataro??? Owhhh.. that's the name for our group presentation. We'll have our annual dinner coming 23rd and as usual, new comers have to present the group for the group performance. Urashimataro is the Japanese folks story (cerita rakyat... betul ke ayat aku tuh..?? boleh laa....) and we gonna present a theater/drama entitled Urashimataro. At Office... No mood to go home...

Office already become my second home. Here I work 10 hours/day, start from 8.00am till 6.00pm. But usually I took-off at 7.30am and I reached home at 7.30pm if I didn't do any OT. If there's OT, definitely 10pm or 11pm. Office already become my second home. I just went home to have some dinner, took some bath and go to sleep.
Nothing much to say today. Not in da mood and I'll be writing soon when I have some spare time.

Financial Security vs Financial Freedom

Most people around the world would prefer financial security than financial freedom. When it come to investment subject, higher risk may give you higher return. The same principal applies to your carreer life. If you choose to work with financial security, for example work with the government, definitely you'll get the financial security. But it will never promise you financial freedom. Unless you are educated with financial intelligence.

Why I decided to write on this topic? I start to think about this after one of my office mate who is an engineer, quit the job and wanted to become a teacher from KPLI he applied before. And one more case, is a long story of a guy aged 40, tells me a story on his life and how he struggle after the company he worked hard previously become worst. He had to take the VSS and leave the company. So, educate yourself with financial intelligence. And I also still on the process of my education. I learn alot from other people story and mistakes so that I can prepare to face all the challenge and hard time coming infront of me.

One of the author I love the most is Robert Kiyosaki. Buy his books. You'll change your perception on financial world.

A New Year Post

Probably I have leave my cyber world for some time. I didn't showed up and even my yahoo messenger also rest for sometime. There are few things which I should not mentioned here. You know we live in a circle of life. There's a time when you're up and of course when you're down. I would say I just been there, the down side for sometime. Problems come and go. And the most important thing, after I gone through all the path, there's something new I should learn. Most people who fail, they lose the most important thing, which is the lesson. So, stop complaining about this life, other people and the past, and start to think about the future.

Forgot to mentioned, I quit from Cubic Electronics a month ago. I gambled to do so because I am not satisfied with my working condition. I don't mind about the pay, I don't mind about the post. But the most important thing is I want to improve myself from my job. I don't think I can improve myself by kissing the supervisor's butt and follow what ever she said without any appreciation she gaved to me. I think I've made a perfect choice, I quit before I got any new job offer. But I thank God, he gaves me a whole new job, which is more challenging and better environment. I work with Pioneer after 2 weeks as unemployed. I was offered as process engineer in this Japanese company and I am grateful to be here. There's alot more things to learn and I am very excited with all this new challenge.

I will update more later, I got something to do after this. Alot of works to be done. Hope to see you guys soon. Caloo...

After a while I didn't showed up, I feel like to write something at least a few words here at my blog site. First of all, lately I am so tired, working 12 hours per day until my project completed. Working on night shift give me a double-tiredness cause night time is suppose to be the ideal time to close my eyes. It's totally different with my university moment where midnight was the most active time to do this and that. But as I start working, I slowly changed back to normal. Night time is the best time to rest my head on my pillow and get some rest. Dear God, please help me to get a new office hour job as soon as possible (of course with a better pay la kan... :) ).

BULL MARKET
KLCI index closed at 1040.79 today. Market is consistenly going up. Yeah, that what it means by Bull Market. It is expected that the index will continue to raise up to 1,300 points. So, I can consider now is the good time to invest on market. Those who have enough money, don't wait too long, you can choose to buy some stocks or if you don't really expert in managing and monitoring the market, buy mutual fund. Leave it to the fund manager to manage the money. For these few weeks, the funds were always green in colour. Only a few were red with only a little bit drop. I myself thought about withdraw some money from my PNB's amanah saham and put some on Public Mutual until the buying force slows down abit, then I will sell the unit, provided I have recover the service charges.

Why the hell is the market going up??? According to experts, this is because of the 9th Malaysian Plans and people started to invest to see positive return. For me, one of the factor was the PMs criticism to the government. Why did I said so? After receive a dozen of criticism, of course the prime minister and their cabinet do something to prove it to the ex-PM, Malaysian citizen and also the rest of the world that they are worth on their position. The sleep PM of course will try his very best to wake up even it is a rainy day on a very sweet Subuh time. Leave all his blanket behind and start to focus on his duties and responsibilities. Then I believe there will be some positive effects on Malaysian's economy.

DAILY JOB
Working is of course tiring. Especially when you work on overtime. But what to do, it is my reponsibilities as I am being paid for every single hour I spend on my workplace. Right now there is a project to be done. Calculating cycle time for every QA process, starting from the SMT SPC process, IPQC at MIMA, Functional, Diagnostic and Dimension at Testing area and of course packing. 4 hours per day I spend on doing this starting last week but of course not every day. I got some better things to do outside. New model in high schedule PD1970 - Boston -> the in-house name for the product. I am not sure what the product on the market but it sure kick as. It is a PDE model something like Zen and I-Pod with a tiny physical size and 512MB to 4GB storage. Just wait and see.

SYAWAL ALMOST AT THE END
Yesterday I attended one last weekend open house at QA supervisor, Mdm Aishah house. It was the closing of Syawal open house. After this there will be no more open house to attend, so I have to reserve some money for food.. Haha... Previous week, there is one Sunday I attended 4 houses and eat like hell. The fourth house my stomach is totally full and only can fit in some cakes and fruits. Waiting for next year Syawal for more open houses.
